"What I used to like to watch was the mountain. When you looked up and out from our back porch, you looked up to the mountain and … about half way in between where the road came there was a gate. So when they'd bring the sheep into shear them you'd see them all coming down over the top of the mountain. You could see the dogs working' 'em. It was quite far away. Then they'd have to all go through that little gate and then they'd come out the bottom. It was just like sand going through an hour glass."
